Description
Adds 3 new Military policies boosting the production of Siege and Support class units and allows boosting the production of Recon units by existing policy cards for infantry unit production.

List of New Policies
  • Siegecraft
    Military
    Requires Defensive Tactics
    > +50% Production toward Medieval era and earlier siege and support units.

  • Fireworks
    Military
    Requires Mercantilism
    > +50% Production toward Industrial era and earlier siege and support units.

  • Pioneers
    Military
    Requires Ideology (moved to Mobilization with Project 6T)
    > +100% Production toward Industrial era and earlier support units.
    > Double experience for recon units.

List of Changes to Existing Policies
  • Lightning Warfare
    Now boosts production of Siege units, too.

  • Agoge / Feudal Contract / Grande Armée / Military First
    Now boosts production of Recon units, too.

  • Survey
    Now obsoletes with Pioneers instead of Native Conquest.

Compatibility and Requirements
No requirements, works with all rulesets.

If used together with EpsTweaks for Support Units, the policies from that mod will be removed to avoid redundancies.

Is this mod compatible with the "Better Recon" series of mods? I know it also has a policy pack.

No, no conflict at all. I even designed the policies for the future era units with this one in mind. "GIS Arta" as a policy that only boosts cavalry production doesn't even make much sense, only with the addition of Siege does the name really work.

Making the interactions between the mods simpler was one of the reasons I turned what used to be a component of Grand Eras into its own mod.

Hi, does this conflict with your Future Units mod? I notice that also makes some changes to policies such as Lightning Warfare. Thanks.
