(Sorry for the late response, I didn't see your comment, lol) No, it's not. However, and as far as I tested, 256 is the maximum amount of lasers you can combine efficiently, to make one more powerful, you would need either 374 for +56% damage or 512 for +75% damage, neither of wich I could pull off.
