FB-1917 Frontline Bomber

The FB-1917 is a light Frontline Bomber, capable of carrying a moderate payload to support the fight in the trenches. Features adequate speed, a flexible machine gun armament, and simple operation.

STARTUP:
-Set throttle to .25 for idle
-Starter press until engine runs
-Throttle to about .60 for taxi
-Throttle to 1.00 for takeoff
-Do not rotate upwards until 55 M/S airspeed


FLYING:
-Recommended cruise throttle is about .75-.85
-Press 2 to toggle autolevel, recommended if switching seats
-Be wary of blast from dropped bombs!


LANDING:
-throttle to .60
-upon touchdown throttle to .25 to stop


WEAPONS:
Pilot:
-Machine gun operated by spacebar, is tilted up for easier aiming
-bombs armed by 'bombs release arm' switch, 'bombs released' will count how many bombs have been released. arrow buttons largely unnecessary unless a bomb release fails or you are only loading inner pylons

Observer:
-Machine gun mount unlocked by pressing 1, mouse aimed
-you can fire small arms, flares, or even drop grenades from the front! The grenades have a tendency to get caught on the aircraft though, caution is advised
