4. I didn't use any Polyethylene to cover any part of this craft. I use Silica Aerogel, Graphite Aerogel, and Spider silk an the primary armor, and Magnesium for the white outer finishing. However, i'm glad to hear that it's performing greatly.
5. As for propellant mixture, yeah i'm still pretty much an amateur at this. I always use Methane as my primary pick for my ships, and Nitromethane for my missiles. Seems like i still has more to learn.
6. Thank you! i'm basically just a silly anime artist who really love to nerd about hard sci-fi stuff in my part time. And after seeing The Lunar War & Savages, for some reason i wanted to make my own in this game (and because i'm too lazy to learn blender again lol). That's why i put a little bit more effort on the outer finishing, decals, and color scheme.
Thank you so much for the feedback. I do have already some things plans for the future of my spacecrafts design, and relating to your input:
1. Yes, for some reasons i've always overlooked flares in my design.
2. Spider silk are always a standard issue in my design. I'll probably gonna be adjusting it more in the future.
3. As for KKV's, i've always try to make my KKV's to have as much Delta-V's as possible. Because i always second-purposed it as a decoys (probably one of the reasons i always overlooked flares). The SM-2's are actually covered in 5cm of spider silk.
1. Although this ship is meant to be used in fleet action, it would still benefit greatly from some flares.
2. Spider silk is too expensive for a ship not meant for direct combat.
3. I would use much more spider silk on the KKVs, they get burned very easily by even low power lasers. The SM-2A missiles however do have good laser protection
4. Good job on the frontal armor with the polyethylene bulkheads! They really do catch a lot of spall from flak missiles.
5. I would use a more performant propellant mixture. I like NTO/UDMH because of its balance of real-world practicality and performance, which is typically 2.8-3km/s exhaust velocity, as well as high density.
6. Good job on the decorations! I really like the color scheme and radiators
