This is the V2 version of my older Black Orc mod:

Because of the changes from CA, I had to rework my old mod to this newer version. Don't use both!!

CA had the chance to make them great in the OoD DLC but sadly they decided to go for the power creep version, instead of a proper interpretation from tabletop. What makes Black Orcs so scary is their ability to carry all kinds of weapons and be able to switch them in battle.

Making a reskinned, shielded variant that takes up an extra unit slot in an already wide roster, is not a clever decision. Both "new" units aren't worth beeing called Black Orcs.


!!! Black Orcs are now shielded by default !!!


AI usage (how the AI handles the abilities):
Shielded while marching
Dual weapons while charging
Great weapons while in melee

I had to adjust the Krimson Killaz, due to how CA implemented the Black Orc abilities. They
are now a regular ror from the base unit with more HP and slightly more damage.

You can play with increased unit sizes, but newly added Black Orcs will always have great
weapons (double axes for Killaz) . This mod is made for default unit size and lower.

You appear to have datacored "units_custom_battle_permissions_tables", because of that the new units introduced in 6.2 wont show up in custom battles.

i got a problem with the model placeholders when zooming out with the standart unit. weird grey weaponmodels and the whole model seems way blurrier then usual from afar

I'd love it if you could make mod reverting most of the bad changes we got in 6.0. I know there are a couple of individual mods fixing these issues, but one big mod would be great.

i also started the next fight damaged but at the start of the battle, they were full hp

there's some weirdness going on with black orc numbers

they can go down to 0 entities but even then its still 80

@TheGrandSirPiggy sry, I'm not into animations really and I don't know if there is any possibility to change animation with an ability. couldn't find any, yet.
