Industrial Revolution Vehicle Parts Add On!


This mod adds vehicle part manufacturing to the Industrial Revolution mod. Only available for the new b42 version and requires it as a prerequisite.

Most car parts that are normally removable can be put through to deconstruct and use the materials to construct new parts.

This new update allows the machines to make frame kits. Take the frame kits to a garage lift or build your own and spawn vehicle frames. By default, they are bare bones vehicles that need parts, so make the parts in the milling machines as well from scrap. In admin mode, players can spawn vehicles that are near 100%. Also, keys now spawn on the player making the vehicle.

Updated to include batteries deconstruction and creation into new batteries. Added support to spawn vehicles on the east/west garage lifters.

** Known bug, when placing new garage lifts, they will block walking under them until you pick up the middle parts (both floor and overhead) and place them back down. No idea why, it's just an odd bug. Put them back down and they work as normal. **

Yes, find the book that you want from the Schilton's list of books and have that in your inventory when you build the frame. :)

There is a mod by Russo, https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3372547930 Machines 2... He creates machines that work more in the workstation format. It is getting updated but will take some time. IR is more towards automation systems but we try to keep our mods compatible with each other. Best of both worlds. :)

I was thinking about this, just like the trunks. I will need to build a spawn system change on the frame only spawns that will leave the trunks intact if they are KI5's... Right now without mods you cannot replace things like trunks. So I keep them at 100% when the base frames spawn.

Have an update for later today that will add batteries back in and make the garage lifters work in the N/S and E/W positions.

Update bug fix to keep anyone from spawning multiple vehicles on a lift dropping now.
