Mario Kart - Items Collection (REUPLOAD)

This is not mine. I am just uploading this to the Steam Workshop for preservation, as I managed to save a copy of this addon during the false DMCA takedown fiasco that took place back in April of 2024. All credit goes to the original author/uploader, J.2018, for creating this addon. However, if they want me to remove this mod, I will respectfully comply. And if I missed anyone else for their work on this model, I will make sure to add them to the description and credit them as well (just let me know).

However, if this gets removed through another false flagging, I'll just reupload it again. The 2024 DMCA purge may have affected me and lots of other GMod creators, but we are not alone, and we are not giving up. I refuse to be silenced like the others who have been as they try to express their feelings and concerns about it. And I will not let this community down. I stand with other creators who want to do something about this, and I want to contribute to the revival efforts. Alright, enough of my rambling.

In lieu of the original addon description (as I was unable to find any archived snapshots or info on the Wayback Machine), I'll make my own here.

Even though these specific items appeared in only one Mario Kart game, Mario Kart 8, that shouldn't stop you from using a variety of different items that have appeared in previous titles in the Mario Kart series for fast-action thrills and fun in Garry's Mod! Whether it's for creating custom racing scenes, or for just messing around with them with your friends, this Mario Kart items collection will keep you occupied for a long time!
