Tactical Playbook: the SEAD mission

Description
Series of simple scenarios detailing Suppression of Enemy Air Defense tactics throughout history.

The need for SEAD!

1966, Vietnam - Iron Hand Strike
Early version of the SEAD mission with the limited means of the time. Wild weasel missions were launched to provoke SAM sites into activating to then be targeted by anti-radiation missiles.
No ECM availability, expect SAM to push your aircraft loz into deadly AAA traps.
(randomized enemy disposition for replayability)

1972, Vietnam - Iron Hand Strike
First evolution of the SEAD mission with the arrival of ECM capabilities and precision guided munitions. All the while the enemy also evolves with newer SAM systems and new fighter aircraft ambushes.
(randomized enemy disposition for replayability)

1979, Iran - Repossession
On the day after the revolution, US forces move to take back the valuable F-14s preventing any risk they end up in soviet hands. You'll be going up against a unique mix of NATO/Soviet air defense systems.

1983, Grenada - Operation (more) Urgent (more) Fury
Inspired by the historical events, this scenario features a LHA based harrier wing go against a more substancial force then was present historically.

1986, Libya - Op. El Dorado Canyon
Modern SEAD strike against a modern soviet built air defense disposition. Inspired by historical facts but largely simplified.

Notes:
  • Focus on game performance with smaller scale engagements and simple mechanics.
  • Still some issues aquiring lock with Shrike missiles in some cases.

So much fun!!!!!!!

One thing... Shrikes Didn't exist in '66.

They had to do things the hard way

Hi @Spoony_

First, thank you for this mission pack. I love the Wild Weasel missions. ;)

Second, for this mod to be compatible with the version control added in the latest betas, you must include the following lines at the end of the _info.ini file to avoid the warning of possible incompatibility when loading the game:

[Compatibility]
;ApproximateVersion is the second check and will override all statements below. This checks MAJOR and MINOR match but will accept a higher PATCH.
;Would recommend this as a default for starters.
ApproximateVersion=0.3.2
