Description
Mirror World Trapdoor
Tired of having to walk all the way back to the mirror after defeating the boss in the Mirror World, only to then retrace your steps again? This mod saves you the hassle!

When you defeat the boss in the Mirror World, the game will now spawn:

-A trapdoor: For those who want to continue to the normal floors.
-A secret door: For those who prefer to take the alternative path.

No more tedious backtracking just enjoy smoother runs!

Version 1.10 Update:
In this update, the door states (closed, damaged, or open) are now shared between the Mirror World and the normal world. For example, if you open a door in the normal world, it will remain open in the Mirror World as well, creating a more seamless experience when switching between dimensions.

Known Bugs:

- If you open a red room that connects to the boss room, neither the trapdoor nor the secret door will spawn.

Hi @wig, in vanilla Isaac if you destroy the mirror while you're inside the mirror world the game kills you. I has nothing to do with the mod.

Installed this mod because I softlocked myself with dr fetus, destroyed the mirror while in mirror dimension. I loaded my save and it just killed me???

Would be pretty cool if you could finish a run in the mirror world by going through the door/trapdoor while you're in the mirror.

i hope that if you take the mirror world trapdoor you are permanently 1 hit away from death like in the mirror world

Hi @RDW thank you for pointing that out! I looked into Fall from Grace's code to understand how the Boiler floor handles the door spawn. It seems their function specifically checks if you're in the normal dimension when spawning the door, which unfortunately means there's not much I can do on my end to make it compatible.

By the way, since this is a comment, I can’t directly respond here like I could in a discussion thread. I hope this response reaches you. :praisesun:

Doesn't seem to work with Fall from Grace's Boiler floor. If possible, can you make it Boiler compatible @Forerdow?
