Description
Developed by the Abraxas Mining Corporation, a shady mining company with a past muddled with under the table mercenary work, union busting, and piracy. The "Abraxas Mining Corporation" title is all but confirmed to be a front by those in the know, and is a hidden player in the power dynamics of Europan politics. A powerful, brutal, and most of all, silent ship made for covert operations, meant to have enough firepower to stick in the fight, with several experimental weapons and modules.

This is the first ship I've uploaded to the workshop, but not the first sub I've made (hence the MK4), so I hope you can get as much enjoyment out of it as my friends and I have so far. This sub was planned with lofty goals in mind about a year ago, and is now finally complete.

This ship is armed to the teeth, with lots of storage and room for upgrades. Perfect for campaigns.
This ship features a LOT of experimental and otherwise straight up fun features, and I'll go over them here.

1. The short fire beam laser. The front of the ship features a short fire beam laser that consumes roughly half a box of pulse laser ammo. It has a small target angle, but is devastating to anything that dares to get in range. Periscope is in the captain's quarters by the steering terminal.

2. Silent Running. This is the idea that the ship was built off of, and was not fun to get working. I haven't seen anyone else on the workshop do this (though I'm sure it's been done). The reactor is (typically) the loudest thing on the ship. I have developed a system that remotely "shuts off" the reactor (actually just lowers the output to near zero.) This turns off the exterior lights, and turns on the backup power relay. At the same press of a button, the reactor, lights, and autoreactor kick back on, and the backup power turns off. Throw Silent Running on,take it slow, and you'll avoid a lot of trouble.

3. Dualfire chainguns on the front. Pure fun.

4. Automatic discharge coils. (only targets monsters)

5. An Autoreactor! (All credit to FailroadExpress on YouTube) Do not turn the automatic reactor control on, or upgrade output of the ship. It makes plenty of power already, and this will break the autoreactor.

6.Overdrive. This activates the auxiliary engine and extra pumps in the ballasts, to make the ship extremely manoeuvrable.

7. The Drone. The drone is stored in a moon pool and has both internal and external piloting. The terminal in Drone Control opens the hatch to let the drone leave, and to use manual control inside the drone the terminal in Drone Control MUST BE OFF. There's a handy button labelled "power" next to it. Inside the drone, you'll find a few buttons. The one closest to the hatch opens and closes it (don't worry- the pump will deal with any water that gets in) and the button on the junction box powers it on and off. You can switch the spotlight the periscope sees through on the terminal in the drone. The drone is meant to be an exploration/ mining ship, and has a built in oxygen generator with a long life battery you can extend by shutting it down. It's a tight fit- make sure not to move the sub while releasing or docking the drone.

8. The item distribution system (All credit to InitialDesu on YouTube for this idea) There are several lockers connected to tubes in the ship you can use to transport items around the whole ship. Fun!

9. The rear coilguns are split on one periscope, there's a button next to the periscope you can use to change which one fires.

There's no Role Locks on this sub- it was made for me and my friends, and we don't really care about that. If you want use this sub in a public game in a serious manner, feel free to edit this sub to your preferences.

This sub has been play tested extensively, and I'm pretty sure Everything Just Works™ but if anything has slipped through the cracks, please let me know in the comments, or feel free to fix the file you have.

I've been playing Barotrauma since BTE so I've been around the block a couple times, and I've set out to make a fun, replayable and in some areas downright broken sub. Have fun!
