I can agree, this is the most convoluted map from the bunch so far, I decided to use this technique with the multiple portal pairs, specifically for a bit more complexity. Since so far, the player has no portal gun, there isn't too much we can invent for a puzzle, so I tried to make it a greater challenge to get your first portal gun.
I must add though, that every segment is somewhat of a mini-test that you've already done in the past, so hopefully it's nothing too difficult when you follow the path. Additionally as you get closer to the goal, the semgents get much easier to deal with.
As for the soft lock, I'll look into it, cause that part definitely sucks
Thank you a lot for your feedback, I hope you see this cause I don't think replying or tagging is a real thing on this (hope I'm wrong lmao)
In the room with the cube, redirection cube, and sphere, I was able to soft lock myself (the laser cube fell through the blue portal and got stuck when the portal closed) and I had to restart the level as the cube droppers don't have reset buttons.
The third and fourth rooms didn't really match the difficulty of the first and second and the level has a lot of waiting around on account of the spinning gun. I like the theming and concept in theory but in practice it ends up feeling far too long, especially for what is meant to be an early level on a test track.
Got it now
I have gone through this 3 times, and looked everywhere
