TopHat's Chipewyan

Adds the Chipewyan, led by Thanadelthur, to the game as a custom civilization. During the eighteenth century, the Chipewyan (aka Denesuline) were the Dene subgroup that had the most extensive trade and diplomatic contact with European settlers, and the multilingual Thanadelthur was one of the predominant figures who established that relationship.

UNIQUE ABILITY: MIDDLEMEN OF THE CANADIAN SHIELD

When beginning a Trade Route to a City-State, gain a burst of 5 Influence per Strategic Resource for which you have available copies. Strategic Resources provide the same Happiness bonus as Luxury Resources.

UNIQUE UNIT: INKONZE HELIN

Replaces the Great Merchant. When expended, creates a source of a random Strategic Resource on an adjacent resourceless tile, if possible.

UNIQUE BUILDING: FUR TRAIL

Replaces the Caravansary. In addition to the standard Caravansary benefits, cities with a Fur Trail receive a 25% bonus to yields gained by trading with civs whose capital is on a different landmass than yours.
