SS Arandora Star

Originally part of the Ocean Liners Pack before the addon became an archive for the retired models.



Here is the Liner SS Arandora Star.

She was a British ship owned by Blue Star Line (NOT to be confused with Clive Palmer's Blue Star Line, they are completely different companies). She was converted into a troop ship during WW2 and was tasked to transport Italian and German civilians and POWs to Canada. She was sunk on July 2nd, 1940 by U-47 (one of the most successful U-boats in WW2) with the loss of 805 people. The survivors were rescued by the Canadian destroyer HMCS St. Laurent.

The models are realistically scaled, so use Collision Resizer if you want to make them smaller.
