Experimental gamemode about explosions. May contain bugs!


It's recommended to disable other addons, as they may conflict.


Smithereens is an experimental gamemode in which players blow eachother up to buy weapons and upgrades to achieve the most kills. It's as simple as that! You can combine upgrades and weapon abilities to become the ultimate build. Be tanky, be stealthy, be fast, or anything in-between! Possibilities are endless.


Here are the main features of Smithereens:

• Press Q to open the menu. The menu includes all upgrades, weapons, settings and playermodels. All upgrades and weapons need to be bought by killing other players. Press F to toggle stealth, press F3 to show or hide the weapon instructions and press F4 to vote to start.
  
• Health upgrades increase health by 50 for each upgrade, however deduces movement speed.
  
• Speed upgrades increase speed for each level, whilst also decreasing health by 50%.
  
• Jump upgrades increase jump height for each level, and has no downsides.
  
• Stealth increases invisibility factor for each level. This deduces jump height, and does not allow you to fire whilst in stealth mode.
  
• Kill reward increases the kill reward for each level, giving you more money for each kill.
  
• User friendly to all players. CS:S and EP2 are recommended, however not required. If you are an admin, type "sm_css 1" in the console to replace all counter-strike models. Anyone without CS:S may lag when sm_css is set to 0. Be cautious!
  
• If you are experiencing lag, try inputting "sm_fpshud 1" in the console to enable simple HUD mode.
  
• Works on every map!

Again, CS:S and EP2 are recommended, however not required. Input "sm_css 1" to replace all counterstrike models if you are an admin.
Also, 10 rounds are recommended!
