Outpost Overhaul: Bathrooms with Shower

Update: I have since tested it myself and resolved the Schrödinger's Bin issue, apologies to everyone inconvenienced by my oversight.

All I can look up of vanilla is how originally the script could be found inside the outpost's upstairs bathroom garbage can... before it was removed in the final product. Mods like Betabound do add it back in.

I... I don't know. I'll actively do tests now. Sorry.

Please answer the question, which bin is it?

There's nothing to patch because new outpost rooms are added through universe flags as the game loads, while quest items spawn in-game dynamically the moment you accept said quest.
With story disabled it's even simpler to pinpoint any friction because the outpost is already in it's full version and so the possible bug culprits are fewer.

- So, did you accept the quest, install this mod and the item wasn't there?
- Or was it in a different place to begin with?

...well, I am running with Optional Story, which puts the Outpost into the latest possible version... with a few things still locked due to those behind behind quest lines not connected to story progression.

I believe Disable Story mod also does a similar thing, tho locks the story progression out and basically inaccessible, forever stuck being right before the Ruin Door is ever opened since the story quests had been removed.

My point is, there are select few mods that force the outpost to later versions of itself, and you could make a patch for it (or a separate version of the mod) instead of editing this mod in general. This is so people can still pick and choose.

The only 2 ways I've devised how it can break is if you accepted that quest first and then either installed this mod, or did the Mining Facility, making the game overwrite that 'container' and it's items somehow.
If you don't remember either, then I'll just cut a hole through space-time again as I did for Cloak.co, so that the original bin gets superpositioned in all bathroom states at once, and whatever happens - happens.

...weird. Well, who knows. Maybe the damn thing is finicky on if it wants to spawn or not. Maybe it properly spawns it if I'd just reloaded the outpost after accepting the quest.

Are you sure it's in the bathrooms? Because I've literally copy-pasted that room from the outpost (objects included), so if the "bathroomtrashquest" bin what spawns with the script was there it'd proably be there, and I don't really remember touching anything besides the middle part.

The Comedy Script Rubbish Bin in specific is the one normally on the right side of the bathrooms

I noticed that this mod to the Outpost Overhaul's bathrooms (not sure about the others yet, but likely) may have accidently replaced the special rubbish bin containing the Comedy Script with a regular trash bin. The Comedy Script is something from a quest in the Outpost and is understandably overlooked sometimes.
