Description
the MCV Evolution 2 is a bus bodywork produced by MCV of Egypt between 2011 and 2018, a successor to the first-generation Evolution that had been built since 2003. Launched on the Mercedes OC500LE chassis, the type was also made avaliable on Volvo B7RLE & B8RLE, MAN 15.250 and VDL SB200 chassis', though only one was built on VDL and 11 on the Mercedes chassis. The bodywork design was also used for the FAST Starter LE, a left-hand drive bus on the MAN A69 chassis, bodied by MCV and given the internal designation S130LE.

This mod features a MCV Evolution 2 C124RLE, on the Mercedes OC500 chassis, in a single door configuration with a total capacity of 70.

For Volvo chassis variants, please check out HE 421's mod collection here, as i will no longer be making Volvo variants myself. (This mod is not related to mine in any way, just a coincidence these were made and released around the same time. I was not aware there was another Evolution 2 series in the works, sorry!🥴)

Sent that prior message while i was testing and i have hopefully found a solution to the issues i had prior! Update has been published and it should now be possible to paint the doors while they remain animatable (and hopefully has not broken anything else :steamhappy:)

I will have a look at making the doors paintable, i know there's a method people use to get the doors paintable and animated but i haven't managed to do so with my own mods yet, but it's always worth another try :steamhappy: (if not, i will probably upload an unlisted version with no animations to use!)

quite a nice model tbf, very nice to see one of my fave MCV products ingame, my only problem is the non paintable doors, is it possible to have a non animated door varient where the doors are paintable, just so then it can fit the rest of the fleet in my saves :D
