Edam 1778

The Kaaswaag in Edam, built in 1778, is a historic weighing house in the Dutch town of Edam. It was originally used for weighing cheese during Edam's famous cheese markets, a tradition dating back to the 16th century. The building is an architectural gem with a classic Dutch facade and has become a symbol of Edam's cheese heritage. Today, it hosts a cheese museum that highlights the region's rich dairy history. Visitors can also experience reenactments of traditional cheese markets during summer months.

Nice! One problem though: why is the text in the right tile tableau mirrored? You can see it in the fifth picture; it's supposed to read 'Nijverheid'. (The left one 'Handel' is placed correctly.)
