Description
This mod adds multiple alternate weapon loadouts to already existing units, as well as two new hero units.

The inspiration for this mod were the upkeep cost of the Kastelan Robot. While AdMech Vehicles require ore for their upkeep cost, the Kastelan Robot requires energy, leading to a different economy. This mod focuses on that issue by adding additional Units that require the alternate resource for their upkeep.

Skitarii Vanguard with Arc Rifle
The Skitarii Vanguard with Arc Rifle is an early game anti vehicle unit.

Ironstrider Ballistarius with Lascannon
This version of the Ironstrider exchanges its weapon for a lascannon, increasing its damage against armored target, but weakening its anti-infantry abilities.

Kastelan Bruiser
The Kastelan Bruiser pummels its enemies with its heavy fists. Ideal against armored targets.

Onager Dunecrawler with Phosphorblaster
This Dunecrawler exchanges its high range anti-air weaponry against medium range ground focused weaponry.

Skorpius Disintegrator with Belleros Energy Cannon
This unit trades its heavily focused damage capability against better anti-infantry and anti-aerial weapons.

Knight Crusader with Thermal Cannon
This Knight is even better against single targets, but falls behind when overwhelmed by large quantities of enemies.


In addition to these ordinary units there are also two hero units.

Kastelan Commander
The Kastelan Commander takes the role of a midgame front line hero that can be further enhanced through various items.

Knight Castellan
The Knight Castellan is a late-game powerhouse with special anti-superheavy weaponry. His biggest strength comes from the ability to wield items and rise even further and become the strongest force to walk upon the planet of Gladius.


The mod doesn't add any new models or animations, it only reuses already existing visuals.

Changed Traits and Weapons mostly, some Units might be rescaled, meaning they are larger or smaller. But mostly it is the same unit now shooting lasers instead of rockets or bullets instead of flamers.

hmm so by saying that u didnt add new models/only reused visuals do you mean u kitbashed stuff together or just base unit with changed traits etc?
still very good series of mods! adding new stuff without making it feel to overhauled or modded! keep it up! :luv:

I could, but don't see a reason for why. I haven't added or changed any visuals, so any screenshot I'd post you'd answer with: "That looks just like the base game."
And I would answer: "Yes, everything looks identical to the base game."
