Hemera System

Description
Greetings, Commander, and welcome to the Hemera Star System!

This is a binary star system first surveyed by Rattium Shipyards in the year 20XX with long range survey probes. It is vast, and rich in mineral wealth.

As indicated in the survey images, the planets and moons are principally focused in 3 large, multi-planet zones. Each has unique pros and cons:
-Hescychia is easiest to hide in, with its expansive rings and the narrow canyons on its moons
-Hemera has the easiest access to planet-side ice and the most life-bearing planets
-Tartarus has the richest planet-side mineral deposits and the most pirates

Important Note:
Although the orreries shown in the images above imply orbits, this does not use the RealOrbits mod - though it does use RealStars and RealGasGiants, and has had day-night cycles set up and in some cases heavily tuned.

This decision was made because of the work involved in creating the extra planet mod resources needed for the seamless transitions from orbit to ground in RealOrbits, given that most of the planets and moons included in this mod did not already have those extra resources. We believe that the inclusion of more planets and moons offering unique gameplay elements offers a better experience (especially when PVP may be a factor).

Meta-description:
The Hemera System contains 24 planets and moons, hand-picked and tested from across the space engineers workshop community, which we have placed around 3 large bodies: a yellow star (Hemera), a red dwarf star (Tartarus), and a gas giant with a large ring system (Hesychia).

We created this system and assembled its modpack to offer a strong vanilla+ gameplay experience without compromising performance or adding extra blocks, commands, or gameplay elements that needed to be learned. Its layout is meant to drive organic player interaction by restricting mineable asteroid generation to the planetary ring systems around Hesychia, Borea, and Notus, and to encourage use of hydrogen thrusters by making it possible to continuously collect ice while in the rings.

The 3 major systems have been widely separated to force players into staying within their starting system until they build up a certain amount of resources, and to make it so that building a ship capable of instantly jumping to anywhere on the map would require a huge amount of resources and power generation.

A great deal of manual config file editing and tweaking was required to set this system up. A small number of faction stations have been hand-placed, with the rest positioned according to a procedural placement generator developed by Rattium Shipyards before being individually checked for issues. Spawn group functionality had to be tweaked for compatibility with the new resource types added by some of the planets, and it has been verified for correctness with vanilla servers, but does not correctly clean up on torch servers due to a long-standing bug in the torch community. The speed limit was set to 6000 m/s, based on exponentially increasing performance impacts above that speed (in fact, the performance impacts initially become noticeable above 2000m/s if a moving ship begins turning).

For those playing this in survival mode or running it as a survival server:
-4 starting locations have been made available, with at least 1 in each major system. Each is next to a trade station which sells vehicles, and players initially spawn with enough starting SC to purchase a large-grid ship/rover with a survival kit.
-Ice, and trace amounts of minerals, can be easily gathered with collectors in any of Hemera's 3 planetary ring systems. Much more ice can be obtained the same way by those brave enough to "planet-dive" into the gas giants' upper atmospheres.
-Gas giants will crush you and your ship if you go too deep, and stars will burn you and your ship if you get too close.

that's right, asteroid spawning is disabled outside of the planetary rings - earth start sort of locks you out of that until you can make it to one of the 3 big gas giants (Borea, Notus, or Hesychia)

also i could not find any asteroids when i left the earth planet

Hi Locomotor, I'm not sure whether it is necessary to always have the planets pre-downloaded or not, but it will certainly help it load faster, so I added a download link to the collection at the bottom. Good idea!

Also, please note that this isn't a scenario in that it doesn't have any scripted events added. It's a survival world (or, if you change the settings, a creative world).

do you need the planets from this scenario to properly work
if so plz add them as mod list on the side
