Description
SEPTA Silverliner IV's are electric multiple unit railcars produced by General Electric in the 1970s for Reading and New York Central Railroad, which were contracted to SEPTA for operations. The Silverliner IV is used on all of SEPTA's Regional Rail routes; the 231 cars providing the backbone of the commuter rail network, as even 50+ years old they are operational more realible then the newer V railcars. Utilize WABCO Model N-2 couplers consistent and compatible with the couplers found on the Silverliner V generation and can be coupled to them.
