A Matter of Caution - A Short Adventure

Description
Something has happened at The Mage's Tower Brewery, in the village of Bramblycot. Its owner, Dudu Half-Pint, has sent a call to all adventurers. But what troubles could ail a brewery?

Inspired by the one-shot "A Most Potent Brew".

A Matter of Caution is a narrative-driven short adventure designed to get your party to level 2 before you start other campaigns. Features:

- 5 new locations (including a village and a dungeon) and world travel
- Varied skill checks and personality-based choices for some dialogs
- Alternative ways to progress the story
- 1 challenging boss battle

The entire adventure is expected to take about 60-90 minutes. Requires Lost Valley.

And yeah, go ahead and translate it to Portuguese, if you feel like it! Also, feel free to hit me up if you have questions or want some feedback.

Hey, Itomon! Thanks for your iput, I really appreciate it!

Actually, I'm Brazilian and thought about localizing it to PT-BR, but I felt so drained after finishing it that I kinda brushed the idea aside 😆

Also, thanks for your tip about the DLC, I'll update the description.

This is an awesome little adventure! It is short, the title doesn't lie... but it is so immersive, well crafted, and well written, I'm in love with it! :D

And with or without your permission I'll create a brazilian portuguese version of it because it deserves my attention and time <3

Btw: you don't need to say that it requires "all DLC but Palace of Ice". The only two DLC that can gate access to a campaing is either Palace of Ice, or Lost Valley, so you can market this as requires Lost Valley DLC only ;)

Hey, kaiser1914! I believe I know which part you’re talking about, and I’m sorry that it got you stuck. :/ Below is the tip on how to progress:

If you’re talking about the study inside the Mage’s Tower, the password to open the secret passage can be found inside a book in the square bookcase near the door, in the shelf facing the wall. As a general concept, I wanted to keep the quest tips somewhat vague to make players explore and increase the feeling of reward after they figure out how to progress on their own. However, if that becomes an issue and hinders the players’ experience, I will add a hint to the book. Again, I’m sorry for you getting stuck, and I hope you go back and enjoy the rest of the quest!

After clearing the initial rooms got stuck on finding a way to progress, Clue that there may be a hidden passage led me no where, After an hour of trying to figure out how to move on I just gave up, Too hard.

Hey, I’m glad you like it! 😊 And thank you so much for your comment, it really means a lot. I started by just messing with the Dungeon Maker, then suddenly found myself deeply invested in this little adventure. The DM can be really tough at times, specially if you’re new to it, but seeing people enjoying the result of all that labor makes it absolutely worth it.

This is excellent -- well-written, interesting, and canonical in the world of Solasta, which is too rare and precious. :) Highly recommend.
