The other missions in 75.3 seem to load and work just fine.

Maybe it's the mods I have in my (beta) version, but Operation Chagos seems to crash every time on startup.

@Grim, that is correct, mission briefing 3.3, and the Russian SAG units have multiple options to spawn between Kashin, Slava, Sov, and Udaloys

very fun SAG vs SAG
Is it intentional that the intel is incorrect? There is one more Kashin and a Sovremeny instead of the Slava. Not sure what I did but I had only a handful of shipwrecks coming my way.
The SS-N-22 were a much bigger problem and took out the Elrod.

@monster, yea I hear that; its a frustrating balance of trying to help the AI without making it annoying. I was thinking of adding a REDFOR sub trailing, but with the weather neither the sub nor the player would see each other; AGIs have only 10nm VID range (probably less in the weather) plus there's no reason for a fleet of fishing ships in that location to hide an AGI in so that's also just arbitrary

but without the "SOSUS" arrays, it turns into shooting fish in a barrel which is fun in its own way, but not as challenging; the real answer is to have the AI learn how to do actually conduct searches unfortunately

I suggest changing the sea-floor watchtowers to be spy vessels or something of the sort. It's clever, but ultimately I think its better to afford the player the opportunity to destroy enemy ISR assets to benefit the outcome of the battle instead of suddenly being swarmed by shipwrecks regardless of EMCON state.
