Description
Not my design, just my update. Original here:

Ahead of the new Europa update, an enhanced version of JD Horx's T-37 Skycrane which has greater lift, enhanced capabilities, and is updated to more realistically suit its intended use.

Upgrades include:
Catwalks everywhere! No more risk of falling off.
Piston crane. Two pistons, grids merged, with MagLocks.
Full walkable upper catwalk for when the ship is docked inverted on the Europa.
Airlocked Cockpit.
Bathroom and seating for 2 passengers.
More hydrogen thrusters.
Just overall polish and functionality.

Lore (copied and slightly modified from JD Horx's original page):

This small (large grid) transport is mostly hydrogen-based and the backbone of the planetside logistical support of the Europa-class carrier. The Skycrane is intended to be docked upside down under the Europa's belly for long-distance travel. Not intended for combat, it is nonetheless equipped to fend of smaller attackers with its twin Gatling turrets. The T-37a upgraded model, equipped with an extendable crane, is now capable of transporting larger objects that do not fit within its internal bay, as well as grapple and pull objects into the bay.

Out-of-character:

This ship is not intended to be livable long-term. Per JD Horx, it's intended to drop from the Europa, fetch something, and get out. It lacks a jumpdrive or any facilities for long-term habitation. I updated it to be as realistically usable in an in-universe sense and as safety-compliant as reasonably can be. It also needed minimal passenger seating for the crew of any vehicles it lifts; I'd imagine there's regulations against the crew staying inside a vehicle that can't fly on its own and doesn't have parachutes in case something happens and it needs to be jettisoned.

This thing is capable of extracting an M-72 Rhino from Pertam, although only barely. As it only has hydrogen lifting thrusters, it has no "hump" to get over, so any upward lift at all will eventually get you to space. Remember to use Ascent Cruise Control and Gravity Align. As the M-72 is the IMDC's largest and heaviest (by far) ground vehicle, if it can lift a Rhino, it can lift anything.
