SplitHydro v2 Vanilla Survival Miner

Description
Many years and hundreds of hours of research and testing has made the "perfect" jump miner for any survival playthrough. No DLCs, No Mods, No Scripts.

Created for asteroid mining. Safe up to 40% load on any moon. You'll need to add an additional thrust module if you want to try using on a planet.

Welding:
I usually hand weld the center/conveyors from back to front first just to be sure I didn't miss anything, then everything else is on the outside so you can use any method for welding it up.

It's not a problem if you don't have superconductors/reactor comps yet, just weld up what you can.

Includes a sub grid for Spot Light and Camera, feel free to just place a camera there instead if you're not comfortable. The terminal block there is just so you can rename that subgrid if you need to.

Uses 8 drills, so for official servers, you'll need a friend or to purchase/steal more drills. 3 drills sticking out further on some conveyors would probably be the best bet for starting out.

How to mine:
Line up facing ore.
Press 8 to turn off stopping thrust.
Tap forward to around 0.50 speed to start mining.

To stop:
Press 8 to turn on stopping thrust.
Tap backwards and press Z to turn off dampening.
Don't exceed 1.50 ms when backing out to avoid damage.
Turn dampening back on when safely out.

Additional Features:
Auto stockpile event for both connectors.
Single Button Dock/Undock.

Crash Recovery (it's SE, it happens sometimes):
There is a passenger seat you could store emergency supplies in (tanks, tools, materials).
The heavy armor blocks near the jump drive have metal grids if you need.
Survival kit, Basic Assembler and basic Refinery can be turned on and used.
The panel blocks should help retain a lot of connections and prevent some damage.
When you're up for it, I would recommend a second jump capable ship for emergencies as when jump drives get slammed it seems like every single dang superconductor vaporizes.

Setting up Docking/Undocking:
Add a beacon to your station (if you think you might move it one day).
Clear Waypoints in both Recorder blocks.
Select beacon on both your Recorders
Dock manually.
Turn off connector and slide all the way to port. (Toolbar 4 has the goods for recording)
Record Docking waypoint.
Back away a little.
Record Docking and Undocking waypoint.
Back away more and over to the side you're most likely to come in from.
Record Docking and Undocking waypoint.
Reverse Docking Waypoints.
On the docking waypoint 2, Add action to turn on Autolock Event controller
On the docking waypoint 3, Turn off AI Behavior on Flight Move, Turn off AI Behavior on docking Recorder.
On the UnDocking waypoint 3, Turn off AI Behavior on Flight Move, Turn off AI Behavior on undocking Recorder.

To activate Docking/Undocking Press 5 to turn on/off the FLAG event controller. Sometimes AI navigation can be weird, so I'd recommend keeping an eye on it and pulling in from a similar direction/heading when using.

Many years ago I was inspired by this video and have continued to evolve these designs over time while using on official or survival servers.

This looks awesome, as someone who is still pretty new to the game I really appreciate your instructions you included in the video and description

Made a very minor update. Changed back panel to half panel so it would leave room for merging and un-merging.
