Balanced Vacations

Description
Simple Mod to change the vacations for a more balanced variety. Fastest vacation takes 14 days? Thats not a short trip to the nearest city, thats a full blown vacation without benefits.

Unmodded there are 2 types of vacations, 14 days and 21 days with different bonuses.
With this mod there are now 3 types of vacations.
Port vacations (La Rochelle, Wilhelmshaven, Kiel, Bergen, La Spezia)
now 7 days long with 2 days fatigue bonus.
Normal vacations (French Campsite and Bavarian Village)
now 14 days instead of 21 days long with mostly unchanged bonuses
Long vacations (French Chateau, German Alps Resort, Eagle's Nest)
still 21 days but with a 14 day fatigue bonus instead of only 7 days like the normal vacations.

Made the mod for my own fun and playthroughs and wanted to share it.
This mod is not intended to be realistic.


Installing mods mid-game can corrupt your game. Use with caution or start a new game!

ill try this mod next game start.
im in late 1943 right now.And my captain.
wont update to get skills. show he gets point
but skill sit at 0 in skills after all the updates
my game mayb messed up

Make sure you dont delete the folder, only whats in it. And yes the Temp folder should contain mostly mod dlls but if you use only data sheet mods, it wont create anything in the temp folder :)

You know what in my temp folder i never get a flie
NEVER whats up with that? From the start of me playing
Uboat i started deleting the Cache, Data Sheets, files in them 2 folders
and i was going to delete files in the Temp but it never had any files
to this day its empty? what is in yours is there one file that stay there all the time
right?

As far as i unterstand, updating mods will not mess with ongoing savegames unless you delete the temp mod files etc. The problem with this mod is, the changes are located in the sandbox file and you dont want to mess with this file in ongoing saves, it will probably corrupt your save.
Even if it worked for me, testing und changing the mod settings mid-save without corrupting it,
i cannot guarantee it for everyone.

submarine crews had no fixed vacation schedule, it depended on the sub itself. Sometimes the sub needed many month for repairs and refitting. In this time the crew could be send to vacation.
So sending your crew on vacation if your sub was already ready to deploy again could be a little unrealistic. Luckily we dont need to repair our subs in this game for several months :D

why is that 7\14 days sound like a realistic
vacation. this is a cool mod.
Started 2 times late war. i play more late war .
I want play not use a month vacation

Didnt want to go too deep into the vacations, they are still unbalanced in mid/late war.
The bonuses are mostly worthless later, thats why i boosteds the fatigue bonus to 14 days on the long vacations to make them a little bit more usefull.

I like that. I always sent my crew on a 14 day port vacation, to simulate the fact that the boat had to be maintained before going out again and such.
Now I can give them a week off instead. Seems more appropriate, thank you!
