Description
Artillery Barrage
Unleash the power of an artillery strike on the battlefield. This mod is suggested a lot and adds an animated call-in airstrike, letting you destroy your enemy's. I implemented far range sounds for realism.




HOW TO USE:
-Start Ravenfield.
-Open your loadout.
-Go to emmidiate air support and select the weapon.
-Go ingame select and use the weapon.




Historical Note:
Artillery barrages played a critical role in many battles during World War II and all other wars. From softening up enemy defenses to halting counterattacks, artillery strikes were a decisive tool on the battlefield, often capable of turning the tide of an engagement.

By the way, if you use better bot trargeting you gonna get insta detected, especially on Spec Ops, saying by experience

A great mod, honestly, but the explosion textures don't load in for me. The map ends up being a huge mess of purple no texture particles.

This is probably a local issue because I use Ubuntu but does anyone know how I can fix this?

Can you remove the voice? It seems not completely eliminated, I can still hear sounds similar to Tom. You could also add a transition animation of the airplane, just like the transitions of the Stuka bomber and the V1 rocket. Thank you. :steamthumbsup:

It's a great mode honestly, it really enhances the battlefield experience. Though there is one issue, the radius of the the impact (the explosion affect radius) is too small. If you were to say for example play in Coastline, the artillery strike would most likely land on a building, minimizing the impact of the strike, and elevating its damage radius.

What I can suggest from what I've seen is to incorporate a permanent strike zone below the strike radius. To give you a clear idea. If a strike were to fall on a building, the zone would of course cover a sizable field, but since most of the targets are below the building (On the ground) the strike wouldn't affect them, since the initial impact is on the roof of the building.
