Invasion of Grenada

On October 13, 1983, Radical Communists staged a coup in Grenada. This event greatly alarmed the members of the Organization of American States. Therefore, according to the US administration, in order to protect American citizens and restore stability in the country, an invasion plan was prepared for the island.
