Hope, the GeMod Newborn

"Hope is the last thing ever lost" - Italian proverb.

In terms of artificial life, Hope is but a newborn. Although the work of the Genetically Modified Human Project has been discontinued before her scheduled skills upgrade, the cybernetic limb actuators were installed just in time. With her shiny P200H - state of the art processing core up and running, she is just waiting to learn about the things she missed. She is inquisitive and sometimes comes up with solutions nobody thought about before. Though she never met her kin, she is genetically programmed to identify them as family.
Dr.Burke's personal notes:
"I named her Hope. Looking at her, I must remind myself all too often that she's not my Gemma, though I did use all my skills and knowledge to give her my late daughter's ingenuity...and now I am paying the price. Her presence is...overwhelming and I often find myself humbled by the stunning wits and joie-de-vie."
