Arical, the Inheritor

Description
Arical and his Purpose...

His Title, "The Inheritor" was a name Aric had given himself once he unlocked the holy power of his birthright. That being the "Brink of Hope" a single part of the Twin blades passed down by the Jadewind family. The Jadewind family had once served as high ranking Knights of the Vastguar Kingdom, but they have since been retired of the duty. Both Aric and his Brother, Jeremiah have reclused with their father, and taught the simpler ways of life and never to learn the truth of their history and what mission was really served under Vastguar's name. This Brink of Hope was the only clue. Now Arical travels as a Radiant Nomad, searching for the reason why he was granted such divinity, and what Truly goes on in the unruly Kingdom of Vastguar.

Arical's Moveset and Intended Playstyle

Aric is a medium weight, Mix-up, Rushdown Swordfighter.
Along with the normal set of Attacks (such as Tilts, Specials and strongs.) Aric is built with unique Special Cancels for Various Attacks, this I will call Radiant Attacks.

All about Radiant Attacks
A Radiant Attack consumes "Action Points" (AP)a resource Aric slowly gains through aggressive play and perfection. While Aric continues to land attacks and overwhelm opponents, he will accumulate AP.
If Aric swings too wildly about the air, whiffing strongs and taking hits, He will gain AP at a much slower rate than normal.
Additionally, a successful Taunt will grant Aric a free point of AP.

Now that we've briefly gone over how AP is gained, let's go over just what the hell it does...
List of all Radiant Attacks

- Doubled Strikes (Radiant Jab): While Jab is active, you can press Special to unleash a dual wielding Combo that racks up high damage. Each additional press of the special button follows through with the combo and costs 1 AP each.

- Divine Claw (Radiant F-Tilt): while F-Tilt is active, pressing Special will follow through with a Heavy hitting Dual Wielding Slash that covers a long distance. This is not a true combo but can prove as a useful tech/Dodge read and costs just 1 AP.

- Clipped Wing (Radiant U-Tilt): while U-Tilt is active, press Special to cancel into a wide overhead slam with the Brink of Hope, which promptly sends Opponents downwards. Costs 1 AP.

- Angel Twist (Radiant D-Tilt): while the first hit of D-Tilt is active, press Special to cancel into a Jumping Aerial slam onto the ground, this serves as a Powerful kill confirm that costs 1 AP.

- Heaven's Cleavers (Radiant F-Strong): While Aric has 2 or more AP, He serves two wide sweeping slashes from each blade, costing 2 AP. This Attack defaults to "Hop slash" if there isn't enough AP to spend.

- Crossed Paths (Radiant U-Strong): While Aric has 2 or more AP, He serves a Quick uppercut into a crossing Double slash with both swords. If there isn't enough AP to spend this attack defaults to "Crescent Cut."

- Dual Smite (Radiant D-Strong): While Aric has 2 or more AP, he stabs both blades to the floor, causing a huge shockwave from both directions. Without the needed AP this attack defaults to, "Ice pick".

Additional Uses of Action Points

All of Arical's Specials are tied to AP. Without the required AP he will default into slow swinging attacks that have decent knockback but long wind downs.
"One must practice Virtue, or suffer great fatigue when wielding Hope"

Arical's Ultra is also Tied to his accumulated AP. With a maxed out Bar, he can dish out a lengthy 50 damage combo, consuming all AP. Or without any AP, he may only muster a short lasted 18 damage finisher.

Oh man I'm excited for the description!
I'm going to need a full tutorial in here, because he seems to do all sorts of cool and crazy things, but, I don't know exactly how it all works from my playing so far.
I'm excited to learn more!
