Shunt Puzzle

Description
The board can hardly believe you got the system at Quirke Yard up and running. Some of them suspect you might have dabbled in a little "Dark Arts," but regardless, their gratitude is undeniable.

Before they send you off to your next assignment in the real world, the board wants you to ace the shunting logic test. This classic shunt puzzle, endorsed by none other than Professor Frankenheimer, is guaranteed bug-free.

In this test, you'll wield a simple railway simulator (who knows what they'll think of next?) to shunt all the coloured hexagons into the correct order, as shown above the TARGET. The Professor left extensive notes, but we’ve distilled them for you:

• The track closest to you holds five wagons (hexes), and the other two tracks can each accommodate three. Squeezing more might derail them, and the test demands you play by the rules.

• The headshunt can handle only three wagons after the switch.

The earlier prototype's automatic decoupling system was far too unreliable, which is why the map shouldn't be played in miniature mode. The optimal way to proceed is to wait until all the wagons have coupled on a track. When the Loco reverses and the wagons move right to left, hover over the coloured hex you want to keep attached and press 'E' to decouple. If it says 'Push Right' instead of 'Decouple,' press 'E' anyway. You might need to press 'E' multiple times to achieve the desired result. There's no need to push wagons left or right after they are decoupled.

Once you've achieved the target sequence, store the three spare wagons on the middle track and return the shunter to the other spare track. (You'll have to switch it off manually).

And yes, press Start to begin.

Good luck!
