Backwoods Blitz (Intamin Multi-Launch)

(This coaster's theme/story is a sequel to one of my previous ones, Hex Flight)

After surviving attacks from a sadistic witch, explorers have discovered the attacks are only part of a larger cult of supernatural practicers. This cult's home village has been discovered deep in the haunted bog, and to truly stop the cursed attacks, the explorers have prepared a raid of the village, the "Backwoods Blitz". The explorers (riders) are quick and stealthy in the village at first, but halfway through they are discovered and they must race out of the swamp before they become victims of the cult once again.

This coaster has been a large project in the making. Technically, this ride is just a remastered version of Blitz, one of my first coasters I ever shared publicly, but it really is much more than that. The original Blitz was actually incomplete when it was published, and didn't have a theme at all. It had some unrealistic elements, some redundant ones, and overall was not my best work. With this "remastered" version, the second launch is the only section of track that was untouched. Every single other element was completely recreated, some swapped out for others, and everything given a fresh and more fluid design. On top of this, the blocks setup was improved, the control panel is functional now, and of course there's a full theme takeover. The plaza features 2 flat rides not present in the original version, and the queue received a complete makeover that takes riders through the swamp to the abandoned shack (station) where they depart on their adventure.

I like to think that this coaster is a perfect second take on this ride model and I really think everyone will enjoy it!
