As commander of Task Force "Severny Veter," you are entrusted with the execution of Operation Atlant, a critical mission to disrupt NATO's Atlantic lifeline. Your task force, centered around the Minsk aircraft carrier and including surface combatants, Oscar-class SSGNs like the Komsomolets, and support vessels, will transit the heavily defended GIUK gap and deploy into the North Atlantic. Your primary objective is to reach the designated rendezvous point south of the gap undetected, where you will receive further orders to interdict enemy convoys and establish Soviet naval dominance in the region. This operation is vital for the success of our overall war effort and demonstrating the might of the Soviet Navy.
