Back in 2015, Tri county police bought a used lenco bearcat to replace their old SWAT vehicle at the time, The bearcat was picked because of its heavy duty armour, great handling off road and for its great reputation with other departments. As of 2025, Tri county police is currently fitting the bearcat with a valor lightbar and the new 2025 livery design.
