Description
Got a stash of unused science while your power needs are skyrocketing? The brilliant beavers at Damenergy Overlords™ bring you Science2Power™️ Overdrive (T&C apply), the ultimate solution to your power dilemmas!

Science2Power™️ Overdrive is a global modifier that multiplies ALL your power generators for a modest donation of science per hour. You can set the multiplier at any power-generating building. When in overdrive mode, generator stress is applied directly. The generator may explode and end your game... or perhaps not.

The cost of the multiplier follows a custom (and configurable, see below) Fibonacci sequence, starting at 10/hour for 2x power output, 20/hour for 3x, 30/hour for 4x, 50/hour for 5x, and so on.

To configure the values, in the Main Menu, click Mods, then click the gear icon next to the mod name:

- Base Science cost: The base science cost for calculation. It is the start value for a custom Fibonacci sequence. Default: 10. Setting it to 0 will cost you nothing. Lowering the cost may seem tempting, but beware, brave beaver! Cheating is a mortal sin in the eyes of the Science2Power™️ Overdrive and may be punished with banishment to the badwater lagoon!
- Max multiplication: The maximum power multiplication you can apply. Default: 10. The power... unlimited... POWER!

Notes:
- The cost is per hour regardless of the number of generators you have, subtracted directly from your science fund, and an hour of that multiplier (called Current Multiplier) begins. You can change the multiplier using the slider (called Target Multiplier) at any time, but it will only be applied after the current hour ends.
- If you cannot pay the cost, the multiplier will reset to 1x and will be reapplied when you have enough science.

Remember, with great power comes great responsibility... and even greater science bills!

That would be this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3442389397 . I am not upgrading this one to U7 because that mod will have an expansion mod that does exactly like this mod.

Can you make a mod to use science to permanently upgrade buildings? Like a research upgrade or something?

Thanks for reporting! I thought I accidentally adjusted it to maximum or something, so turned out it was a bug. I will check and fix it.

Thanks! Really gamechanging mod. Only issue I have is, it sets maximum Multiplier on loading the a game. If you forget this all your sience is gone...
