Description
The Kairo-Aoyuki Research Technologies (KRT) first entry into the large ship category Designed to be a research/exploration ship being lightly armed and only moderately armoured this ship probably won't win you any battles alone but it should be competent enough in an actual battle.


Blocks: 2570
PCU: 21518
Subgrids: 2 (2 gatling turrets under the windows)
1.2g capable (empty)
3 forward facing artillery cannons
9 gatling turrets
6 Assault cannons
No mods
Does include DLC

Couple quirks on the design:
It's a bit front heavy while landing,
Pretty weak armour from the sides
the outer deck doors will only unlock when under 1km on a planet/moon to help prevent decompressing the entire ship

Special thanks to Mal (God's Hand) for helping me build this, and also Bones203 for some interior nonsense and also giving me the motivation to build this and the 203 version(coming soon!)

I do have a larger ship in the works that's in the same style. I hope to release it in the next couple weeks if things to plan!

there is no hangar bay but there is a large landing pad at the back. and also a small little cargo bay underneath where you could fit some small grid prototech blocks!

love ships like this, looks almost like an actual warship in shape, but not like someone has just placed an actual boat in space, but made one around it, love it

By the looks of it, an amazing Ship. Haven't downloaded it ye, but it look like it does not have a Cargo bay or hangar for all the sweet Factorum Loot.

Absolutely awesome ship design, I love the look of it!

There's some thruster damage from the small atmospheric thrusters near the broadcast controller though, easily fixable but might be important to know about.

Nice looking ship! It is really spacious inside and the landing gears are a cool design. Awesome job dude!
