The Cephalon: Robot Player Race

This is a Player Race Mod that adds robots known as Cephalons!

This was made together by Me (Metro) and Explosive 'n' Escort. This is the sprite only version of the mod without any racial abilites. Explosive 'n' Escort was hoping to be able to eventually code in abilites. Until then, have fun with this! The name Cephalon is my personal placeholder name I called them while I worked on them, as well as my made up lore behind them. They may have a different name and backstory in a final version.

The Cephalon you see is nothing more then a shell controlled wirlessly by a powerful AI. Predictive on-board algorithms make up for any lag between the AI and the shell, keeping their reaction time both sharp and smooth. The Cephalons dont share very meaningful information about themselves, and as such not much is known. What is known is that there aren't very many of them.

The name of the race looks and sounds quite familiar... Maybe code in a special interaction if the player is named "Ordin Karis"? For no particular reason...

That's the other person who made the initial sprite and animated it with me

And as for racial abilities, I had a hard time figuring out how to code those in, and so did Explosiv 'n Eskort. We plan on adding them, there just isn't any estimated time for it. Will probably be a while. Same goes for the snake race
