Description
An updated version of my level Resevoir. Originally developed back in 2022 as an entry for LambdaBuilds info_comp_start, LambdaGeneration's first level design competition.

This new version includes several tweaks to the original's gameplay, such as an increase in the amount of enemies and adjustments to both the order and amount of item pickups.
These gameplay changes also feature the expansion of a few areas that I felt were a bit under-developed in the original, mainly due to time constraints.
Alongside the layout changes comes a visual overhaul which aims to improve upon both the lighting & atmosphere of the map.

Fast Weapon Switch recommended, balanced for regular difficulty with generous placement of Autosaves.

I really enjoyed this map! It can be a bit challenging at times, but never felt unfair. I really liked how it makes you feel you are desperately trying to survive, especially with the more limited resources towards the start.

You absolutely NAILED the Combine ambushes by the way.

Man I think that was one of the best maps I've played so far since the workshop update came out. Bravo! Really really good semi-open ended level design. If I ever make maps THIS is one I would want to closely look at for inspiration. Better than base HL2 level design and I really hope you make more because that was fantastic!

very fun and gives you a more genuine feeling of being hunted down than some OG hl2 levels, quite creative use of props as barricades that you have to remove to progress

a hard map, but not in an unfair way. i very much enjoyed how exploration was encouraged with various little hidden stashes to help augment your fight against the combine forces and the necrotic third party running around the place. plus, always love that sunset skybox vibe. 10/10.

Pretty neat little level. Tho the start is kinda 50/50 based on where you go. When the metrocops attack you, I thought I had to go to their side quickly and find a weapon, but turns out there's a kind of a hidden area on the side where you had to go.

Once you pick up the weapons however, the events are pretty fun and you can definitely get the upper hand if you leave the zombies alive, so that was fun to figure out
