It'd be awesome if you really want to to do the edits. I'll hit you up on discord.
I really don't mind the edits, nor do I need attribution for the mod, this is all fair and good :)
Although! I did notice a few mistakes in your edits! You've made both "PatrolSpotGreen" and "PatrolSpotPurple" purple colored, There is a stray red pixel on "PatrolSpotRed", and the edges on all of the GuardSpots and PatrolSpots are a bit rough and slightly misaligned - not a big deal in most cases, but many people use camera and graphics mods where those small details become quite perceptible.
Say what, I still have the source files. Should you be interested, I can make the edits crisp and clean directly on the vector files and send them to you, including the fixes above. If you're on the Rimworld Discord, give me a heads up there! :)

The textures were modified and attribution was given in form of requiring the Guarding Pawns itself, without which this texture replacement would be useless anyway.
Also, as the use is:
1) free
2) the textures are so simple in nature that they can hardly be claimed as creative work (I can find icon or shape sets looking almost or fully the same on google)
3) Only a small part of the original work was used and nothing was copied 100% the same
4) (and most importantly) has no negative impact on the distribution of the original work as it is, in context of it's use as a RimWorld mod, useless without said original work
I am therefore certain this falls under fair use and enjoys protection as a valid derivative work.
I do not mean you disrespect, but it's really not a big deal if someone changes some textures for a mod. But I will humor you if you want me to credit your name in the description.
