Given the comments I decided not to use Harpoons and went in with multiple SEAD loads. Who knew cluster bombing could be such fun :D Enjoyed this one, cheers!

Are there any mods in this or can I play it with my vanilla sea power?

@James Strong Yours is the first scenario I've seen that properly spaces out the fleet formations, so a big Bravo Zulu for that. You've also provided plenty of other "stuff" for the US commander to investigate, another plus in my book.

However as you can see from my and Max's previous comments, the Soviets are basically defenseless against massed Harpoon attacks. You need to up the ante and throw in several Soviet submarines close enough to the US formation to disrupt their air operations. Several squadrons of ASM-equipped bombers would also keep things from being so lopsided.

All in all, a great start! Hope to see you add to it!

@JSL The reverse is true. As Max.Throtle said, you simply send all of your A-6 Intruders and S-3 Vikings carrying Harpoons and smother them from multiple directions. Use your EA-6B Prowlers to jam their radars if you want to make it even more one-sided.

@JSL Have you tried just flooding them with harpoons? you should have about 10 scouts that can hold 2 each and 11 (i forget the airplane's name) that hold 4 each. send them all up at once with harpoons, vector them so they attack from a few different directions and fire all 44 + 20 at them. then send the birds home. rinse and repeat
