THE EMERALD RAILROAD

Description
This is my first real layout that I've made.
It is huge.

WE MADE IT ON THE FRONT PAGE!
:party_emoji:

Areas:
- Kaupsito Harbour
- Dorain Forest/Suburbs
- Old Abandoned Coal Mine
- St. Thomas Gorge
- Portsmouth Depot
- Town of Emerald
- Emerald Station
- Emerald (Reserve) Forest
- 2 Mainlines
- Topez Logging CO.
- Hellensville Branchline
- 14 Trillion Trees
- Emerald Mountain
- Tasman Lake
- Mercer Viaduct
- Hellensville

Also keep in mind, this layout has 14 trillion trees in it (real) and the frames may be slow on a low-end PC, but don't worry you'll be fine.

This is the extended and improved version of my original layout. Please enjoy and give me any criticisms if there are any (there aren't).

(I'm joking)

But I'm not joking when I say I am working on a much larger layout now (separate to this, as I believe I've done everything I've wanted to with this layout). But once again, this was my first layout and I was very much learning how to do things as I went, so expect the next layout to be a lot more detailed and ambitious!

@CTW7435 This map won't crash your PC, don't worry.

But this layout definitely will! https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3434290925

@Jake4159 yeah, I have been considering that. As this was my first map, I was experimenting with inclines in terrain and it proved to be quite difficult. For the next layout that I published, I tended to stray away from doing inclines. But I'll definitely look into doing 3D models at some stage. As soon as I stop being afraid of them anyway haha

@Louisiana Southeastern Workshops Thanks! So for the first part of the layout (Harbour to the main station), it took me about an entire day roughly. And then from the river-side tunnel to the large mountain area, that whole area took about 2 whole days. So 3 days in total.

You should try 3D models for landscape if you can model in blender or such. It's just to import your landscape has a prop with collision directly from the mesh. It lags a lot less.
