Color Correction & Post FX
This mod adjusts the after-effects to enhance the map's visuals.

A list of changes:
- Water: The water looks more realistic. Deep waters are darker, while coastal waters are brighter. This helps make tropical areas feel more tropical and makes the water look more realistic.
- Fog: The fog has been readjusted to make the different parts of the map feel more distinct. The rainforests feel more humid, the poles are more frozen and frigid, while rainy Albion is enshrouded in a thick fog.
- Nights: Nights are darker and more stylized, to make them look better and feel more realistic.

Vanilla Vic3 has been unfortunately cosy and.... dare I say politically correct?

Vic2 felt more Victorian, atmosphere was more gritty more rigid and cruel.

Vanilla Victoria 3, especcially when it first launched on the the other hand looks like a mobile game.

So this is a great mod! Thank you for making it.

For people that feel similarly:

I'm combining this map mod alongside Victoria 2 main menu music mod and also Victoria 2 cursor mod.

Sorry for the late reply, I've just been busy lately. Yes, the mod works on its own and you don't have to download any of my other mods to use it. And it should also be compatible with any other mod out there, as long as they don't change the map's shaders (the post-effects and water effects in particular). Thank you for playing the mod and I hope you'll like it! :)

Does this mod do its thing if you are not using a TGGM map?

Now that Enhanced Graphics is dead, this mod is a must have. It does not really fill the big shoes of Enhanced Graphics but it's a good mod nonetheless.
