As part of seasonal updates, two more shotguns were added to cold war being the Streetsweeper and .410 Ironhide. Since shotguns are considered secondaries in the game, the class probably didn't get as much love as the primary weapons.


1) Streetsweeper

"Semi-auto shotgun. Superior fire rate with reliable damage and the largest ammo pool in class. Hand loaded with slower reload speeds."

This is the classic destructive device. More accurate reload compared to previous iterations but still misses the ejector rod step which is fully modeled by the way. This is the only shotgun I haven't made before so more exciting to develop. Fires semi-auto because it does not have full auto capability.

Tried to use this in a bot lobby to see how it feels and its kinda bad compared to other shotguns, you get killed first very little over point blank range.

You may have noticed in the screenshots, in a bit of surprise, the model actually includes the original iron sights of the Striker-12, so I made it use that as default. You can choose to use the iron sights cold war provides which is also alright. There are unique sticker models for each magazine attachment so they are included as well. Most barrel textures are reused from the gallo unfortunately but at least the stocks are pretty unique and has a special first raise animation when any are equipped.


2) .410 Ironhide

"Lever-action shotgun. High damage at close range with an improved fire rate. Reliable 2-shot kill with a longer 1-shot kill range when aiming down sights."

Another hilarious negligence regarding period-accurate weapons. This one may actually be the worst contender due to it being a 2019 lever action. I constantly think about how many nice period weapons would've been added if they gave slightly bit of care to the date. The models are all stylized anyway so they shouldve at least checked the date accuracy once. Oh yeah, the gun works.

Haven't used this either but in a test match it actually proved well so if you're in a "fıck my primary is out" situation this will finish the job with its crazy aim down sight speed.

Stick whatever jpeg you want to the side and check the cool stocks that change the handguard accordingly. The barrels are super lazy, same with the tubes. There are a bunch of options to change how this time-traveling gun looks.

-As you may have guessed, I am having a lot of trouble finding time to develop weapons. I push updates to github whenever I work on something and you can check it out. Mind that content on my github might be broken or sub-standard as they have not been polished yet or enough for a full workshop release. This is my recommendation if you do not have the patience to wait for workshop releases and I really understand that.

-I have changed the method and source for making my materials. I now use textures from Warzone and different tools. It is both faster to do and looks better in my opinion and this may affect the filesizes. I plan on replacing the materials in older ARC9 weapon packs with better ones when I have the time. Massive thanks to ZaihnY and MushroomGuy.

The Streetsweeper (A.K.A. Striker) is one of my fav weapons of all time, being able to use it without my PC exploding is something awesome, thank you. :TheRooster:

Yeah thats a bug I never figured out how to fix after switching to ARC9 so it is probably not on your end.

Question: When running with a lot of these weapons, there's a second where the weapon seems to just split between the run and walking animations. Could it be a bug on my end that could be causing it (like conflicting weapons or something)?
