Put Animals In Bags

Description
Allows You to Add Animals Directly to Your Inventory and Transfer Them to Your Equipped Bags

You can pick up all animals except adult cows and some pigs depending on their weight (same as vanilla).

Works in B42

IMPORTANT: READ THIS
To transfer animals between your inventory and bags you MUST:
  • Right click on the animal to open the context menu and select "Move to Container"
  • Select the bag you'd like to transfer the animal to.
DRAGGING ANIMALS BETWEEN INVENTORIES WILL NOT WORK

Using Animal Trailers
Animals must be on the ground or in your main inventory to load them in the trailer. Move animals out of your bags before trying to load them in the animal trailers.

Tips
  • If you somehow manage to equip an animal in your hands, right click the animal and select "Drop". You will then be able to pick it up normally.
  • If you can't transfer items anymore, you probably are super encumbered from picking up an animal. Drop some weight.

Known issues
  • Regardless of your encumbrance or carrying capacity, you can pick up any animal that allows it, meaning you can store as many animals as you want in your inventory or bags. Animals generate their properties when they are picked up, and I haven't found how to bypass this.

If you're aiming for realism, you'll need to limit yourself to how many animals you carry—like, how many mice can you reasonably fit in your fanny pack? Four?

  • You can transfer bags with animals to other containers (e.g., crates, cabinets). But please don’t shove your pigs under the bathroom sink and forget about them.

  • In early testing, animals left in bags sometimes despawned upon leaving and reloading the game up. This may have been resolved, but it's best practice to pick up and release your animals before turning the game off.

Now to move all the (lost count of) wabbits to the new area. Was feeling a bit guilty thinking about just deleting them in debug, them things multiply like crazy.
Thank you 🙂

@StormFather not at the moment - when I have a little more free time I might look into finding a way to get them into vehicles.
