(demo) (!released in desc) Mozdok from War Thunder

Description
released! here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3439668622

so finally the symbol of field maps in War Thunder. This is basically where fields of fields maps trend had been starting. also my 7th war thunder map and my 24th map in general.

(map update talks gonna be in "changes" section or comments)

words to skip

feel a bit moody but chilly with this "a playlist that disctracts from reality" music so i want to talk some my thoughts. i like talk thoughts. usually the only i get is talking to myself. and i always have been wanting to have place where i can leave my thoughts at. my digital diary works as that but nobody other hears it anyway. so, you see, ive been recreating war thunder maps at least 300 hours already as i was working enthusiastically. I concentrate on just small tasks thinking every time that it is the last thing for a 100% coolness and completion of the map. but this is the first map i didnt thought to myself "yea that will be easy, i need to do just one thing here and there". its more like i learned all the procesess by heart already and can predict that i actually have to do not one thing, so i feel more pressure of them all clashing at once. the more maps in this same order i make, the more i get used to it feeling less enthusiastic. i need to make at least one map of my own i guess. to have at least a little difference in my experience, you know. i feel more motivated when there is new object i didnt recreated with primitives before or new texture to imitate playing with default textures of editor, but at this moment i feel like ive seen everything. there is 2 things i havent decided on tho. 1. some of the War thunder maps i cant recreate because of their scales being more than 2048x2048 meters because i cant make this map in ingame editor then. 2. some maps have too much buldings or other objects so recreating them with primitives will cause too much fps fall so, again, i need to use Unity engine editor to go through it. the nuance is, i fear of the Unity editor so i will wait till i remake all small and little-detailed maps in War Thunder before touching that i guess.

working on what you like, you keep doing it even if all other things of your life are trying their best to not let you do it. does it sound familiar? so.. even if i lose some motivation, there is no other thing to do for me anyway so i will make up with something to keep going. for example, i might make not so accurate relief on this map as original one hehe.

or i would take a big rest i dont know. i feel either like striving to live or dropping everything (not just ravenfield maps) most of the time.

map talk
(writed at the first week of making the map)
as you can see, the developing of the map has barely started. just relief things. this must be looking pretty in just several weeks. trees, bushes, textures, sky, the farlands - and map will look real. even if in heart its basically this bunch of relief covers. the mask - decorations and lore give it impression of life, vibes. in the same way as AI. arent humans similar to AI? anyway, come again every next friday!

There are some points. they have flying and ground vehicle spawners/
(Edit:map might be not so accurate to original one in terms of your favourite sniping spots but.. thats okay~..)

weekly update (week 3 end) ("end" since i can work on maps usually till friday)

relief: 100%
textures: 99-100%
objects: 50%
farlands: 100%

(also added more points)

(minimap can be broken still. without it you cant see where points are and choose spawn positions. you will spawn at last captured point also)

cool............... i feel like i could do more. but at the same time i sleep like 3-4 hours at weekdays doing all things i think i should do till there is no time before morning lessons. well last months were all the same. okay anyway i like to develop maps when there are most of them done already. this one is almost done. need to just add all the buildings and trenches. looks like art.

next week be ready for release!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

weekly update! (week 2 end)

relief works done by 90%
texture works done by 50% (rough base)
objects works done by 20% (only rocks done)
farlands works done by 5% (at least not infinte ocean)

overall then: 41%

300 mb??? the hell i hid there? i really dont know. maybe relief and texture are too complex. i just figured that textures all around the map takes memory too. at least map have stable fps but it loads long. well... its a relief-focused map so........................:griefer:
