Mod heavily inspired by the CK2 mod "Your Personal Castle"
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=246520516&searchtext=your+personal+castle

See this more of an homage rather than a spiritual sucessor, since this is far from polished or as great as that one.

Q: What is this mod?
This is the domicile mechanic unlocked for feudal lords + Alchemist courtier (there for immersion)

Q: So like the Estate for the Byzantines?
Sort of, yes. Assets been reused but the buildings themselves are different. As a matter of fact, it's structured slightly different. Your "castle domicile" is sorted into 5 "Quarters":
1. Royal Quarters (11 internal upgrades & tiers)
2. Managerial Quarters (8 internal upgrades & tiers)
3. Cellar Quarters (8 internal upgrades & tiers)
4. Garden Quarters (8 internal upgrades & tiers)
5. Courtly Quarters (11 internal upgrades & tiers)

Q: Is it balanced or playable?
Playable, balancing is still being worked on based off of suggestions!

Q: Can I play it with other mods?
Don't know. As long as they don't mess with the domicile mechanic you should be fine.

Q: Is the AI affected?
It shouldn't. This is meant for the player experience to waste gold to amass stats and role play

Q: Is this mod "done"?
No! I first said I wouldn't do major improvements, but the very good feedback has led me to want to improve a bit more. Check out the discord to see more

and to answer your question hagnat - admin realms are not compatible at all with what I'm doing here with my mod, sadly

hmm kind of expected it would mess with title changes also... I will look into it!

i have another edge case for you to cover... admin realms.
i was really happy with my estate as a feudal duke, formed an independent kingdom, and converted it to an Admin realm. That means i lost my neat estate i worked so hard to improve, and had to start again with an admin estate. Granted, the admin estate is bigger / better than the feudal one, but i would like to be able to keep it instead of migrating to the Admin realm.
would it be possible ?

if a mod messes with on_action and specifically yearly stuff then yea expect wonky performance

Update: Game crashed a few days after starting with Unoffical Patch also on. I don't know, just not going to use that patch

Neat looking mod, haven't started yet because of a weird crash: placing this mod above the Unofficial Patch Mod causes a crash during the initialization screen, but below is no problems. Checking the logs I think its something to do with the traveller lifepath stuff, I think? Easy enough to avoid for now though
