Description
Now they are finally actual difficulty levels. They behave more or less the same as the mutations (just some small changes).

Important: There are bugs! They should not be game breaking, however you need to know what they are. When you play one of the custom difficulty levels, it will say "normal" when you press tab. Most of the time its just a bug. However sometimes it actually sets the difficulty back to normal for some reason. If that is the case, you need to open the console and type "z_difficulty Nightmare" or Fiendish or any other difficulty level. The vote to change to one of the custom difficulty levels also does not work. Use the console instead.

Because these are no mutations anymore, this addon will very likely conflict with others. Also playing mutations with this mutation will likely break things. No hard eight on nightmare (yet). Sorry about that.

One more thing you should know: You can host public matches and other people can join even without the addon. But you must host locally of course.

Did you disable Admin System 2.1? It is required for the mod to work.

The Difficulties below easy are like this.
Daydream - opposite of Nightmare difficulty
Friendish - opposite of Fiendish difficulty
Beneficial - opposite of Cataclysmic difficulty
Compassionate - opposite of Unutterable difficulty
Attainable - opposite of Insurmountable difficulty (for those who wan't to go through each campaign with very less infected)

I have made a version without the HUD. Maybe I will find a more elegant solution in the future than to clone the addon and just remove it there. But having the HUD separate would conflict with the scripts for some reason.

Yes. I added it because the difficulty would sometimes switch back to normal for some reason and its just easier to spot that way. But I am planning on making the label its own addon or find a way to toggle it.

i like how unfair this is even in nightmare only, i'm impressed. i'm not even that mad on the difficulties

I fixed the issue now. It had to do with my addon relying on one function from VSLib which I did not notice and did not include in the dependencies. However for some reason Vicious Infected happened to fix my mod without me actively importing the required script. When I imported it myself and removed Vicious Infected, it still did not want to work with the original VSLib but with Admin System 2.1 instead. I have absolutely no idea why. Either way, Admin System 2.1 is now marked as a dependency. Anyone who subscribes to it now will be asked to subscribe to Admin System 2.1 as well. Anyone who has already subscribed will probably have to do so manually or just unsubscribe and subscribe as well. Either way, there are of course still a couple of issues and the mod is as rough around the edges as a saw blade, but it should at least work now.
