Description
This mod replaces the default Firearm, Explosion, Turret and Ricochet Sounds with ones from various 1980s Movies.

Credit, for most of these sounds, should go to thatSFXguy. Their channel contains many quality sfx from classic movies and more.

!!NOTICE!!- So, I just noticed (albeit too late) that there already is a similar mod on the workshop, made by Freef. Oh well. But the sounds used are different, so I guess there is no problem in keeping my mod up. At least for now.

Freef's sounds are too HD to be real 80's sounds, this is much better because they're actually from 80's movies. :steamthumbsup::FC5_Boomer:

oh something more arcade-y and silly like what they used for KITT would pretty good too. if not to just use something from there it has pretty good samples that did appear in other games later

It includes a 79' movie, so it's technically not super accurate but i think there are a lot of sounds in the first and second Alien movies you could use for either the HEV Pickup sounds or the gravity gun. mostly the ones the ship and its computer make.

@Doctor Crack I'm aware of that mod's existence, but I was more referring to this one with the explosions and ricochet sounds included. And this one uses genuine 1980's movie gun sounds, whereas the other one uses some custom made 80's inspired sounds that I always thought sounded a bit off.

This was done on purpose, so people can use these sounds with other "non-alien" gun replacements.
