This is, on record, one of the oldest RPG tracks for Trackmania 2, published on Trackmania Track Exchange only weeks after the initial release of the beta, before block mixing was even possible with 3rd-party programs. Deserts of Taros may not compare to more recent offerings, but it was a proof of concept for Canyon RPG tracks.

RPG tracks are exceptionally long courses that combine trial sections, platforming and mazes, and often feature a story. Players are encouraged to cooperate and help each other through tough sections to complete the course, rather than competing for the best time (although there's nothing stopping you from trying to get through the course faster than everyone else except your own skill).
