howdy! do you like to print and to also pack? do you like to…erm…[checks notes]…arc on those ana’s? (i didn’t have a good bit for arcana here sorry folks) AHEM. DO YOU LIKE TO HAVE AN AVALONIAN SHOCK AT THE CULTURE? do you like all three of these things, but fell to your knees in grief when print and pack would immediately explode the other two upon game boot, only to find a glimmer of hope in the form of other reuploads, but then collapsed to the ground again upon realizing that it would still violently eviscerate the culture shock or didn’t have all the other print and pack stuff you wanted? if so, you may be entitled to compensation in the form of this mod that i smacked some flex tape on!

moving onto the gritty details, this is a tweaked reupload of Print & Pack 3.6 by EVILnudeMONKEY to address the material id conflicts the mod has, specifically with Arcana by sleepySev and co. and also Avalonian Culture Shock (ACS) by Prodigy. there’s been a few other tweaked reuploads floating around but all of them remove content at some capacity, so i figured a version with all the stuff and no conflicts would be nice! before i state what i did exactly, i must confess that print & pack might be the winner for funniest material id choice on the entire starbound workshop. instead of using a set range of ids (like 330-340 for instance) (never use those ids btw i’m pretty sure those are vanilla occupied), the author spaced their ids out by 100 for each material! so, you have a bunch of material ids in here that look like 17500, then 17600, and then 17700 to give an example. the conflicting ids were 16600 and 17500 (evilplatform and wallpaper4) - so i shuffled evilplatform up to 17498 and knocked wallpaper4 down to 17499 using information from the wonderful mod material use reference on the wiki[starbounder.org]. just one smack of flextape and it gets the job done! it’s like magic! it’s like the shamwow all over again! woohoo!

important: you must UNSUBSCRIBE from the original print & pack 3.6 because this is a tweaked reupload and you don’t want to be running two prints and packs at once! that’s too much printing and packing for one starbound it can’t handle that much print and pack my friend

Q: why?
A: did you know print and pack hasn’t been updated in almost a decade. folks. starbound will be offically ten years old in a year, that’s nuts! anyways, i felt it was pretty safe to assume that this mod wouldn’t be getting any more updates and i thought it’d be kinda rude to kick down sleepySev’s and Prodigy’s door to go “yOuR mOd HaS a Id CoNfLiCt WiTh A mOd FrOm 2o17!” when it’s perfectly within my (albiet limited) skillset to address it myself! this way, the problem is solved, no mod authors have been bothered, and everyone can enjoy their printing and packing and arcana and avali culture shocks at the same time! also also to make it easier on my gf for when we eventually play together

Q: patch?
A: i’m getting closer and closer to maybe jumping into that pool, but still do not trust in my ability to not create issues in attempting to make a patch - i’d rather share something that works as opposed to something that does not! i do not wish to cause your star to bound into a fatal error
