Description
Wonderful news, you can now convert the plasma of your foes into fuel for your powerful and usually costly projects.
That go-juice super soldier can now drink the distilled blood of your captured enemies.
Take generous donations from your pawns on the regular in order to make medicine to pay them back.

Maybe you're like me, you wanted a reason to extract blood from your enemies, but you didn't want a sanguophage. Perhaps you also wanted a simple but depthly way to produce neutroamine.

But why Hemogen?
The production of neutroamine is vague, since in the base game they can only be obtained through trading. This allows for modders to have neutroamine be whatever they want, from the product of parasitic organisms to android blood.
Most interpretations follow the idea that neutroamine is created by processing organic matter such as meat, oil, or a plant. Hemogen follows such a theme, and even has bonus points for being a medicine-related liquid.

We also get ourselves a nice detour into sanguophage technology that would normally go ignored in any regular playthrough.

How to make Neutroamine from Hemogen
You will need:
Deathrest Research
Biofuel Refining Research
1 Biofuel Refinery
1 Blood donor
5 Hemogen packs
4 Intellectual

Simply attach hemogen pack to the refinery by its spout, let it boil, and you have a plastic baggy of neutroamine, ripe for the bottling.
There you have it! 3 neutroamine. A bulk recipe for 12 neutroamine is included.

Questions
Q: Why does it require Deathrest research?
A: Balancing, for one. Neutroamine is a fairly rare resource. Other than that, it's because if you want to be a capitalist vampire, you need to understand vampire logistics.

Q: Is this compatible with VRE - Sanguophage?
A: It definitely should be, but the other types of hemogen packs can't be refined for the same reason that sanguophages can't regularly eat them. If there's significant demand, I might consider adding animal hemogen.
Nothing for pipes, though.

Q: Does this require Biotech?
A: Yes. Hemogen as a resource comes from Biotech, and without hemogen you can't make neutroamine from hemogen.

Good point, might reach out to the maker of this mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2806793401 and see if you can borrow the art for a neutro-refinery. It has been abandoned so they may allow it. Save some steps

Oh right, pipe support, people wanted me to add a pipe object thingy.

That would need to be a different object, because you don't run pipes through a crafting bench unless to power it.

Not like it defeats your idea or anything, it just has to be manual labor.

I would like to endorse your idea to use the chemfuel refinery and have it link to the neutroamine and hemogen pipes. It would give my Android colony a reason yo keep a few flesh bags around. Kudo's for such an original method as well

Can we get a reverse of this mod? Synthetic hemogen made from neutroamine definitely sounds like something that should exist. I mean, it wouldn't be an option for a sanguophage to just capture a random nobody and cut off their legs to sustain themselves on more developed planets, so some kind of synthetic hemogen should probably exist.

I like this. Hemogen seems handy to stockpile, but surprisingly few mods add more uses for it, despite how hemophages apparently use it for their psudo-magic powers. This atleast lets it be used for potent drugs.

I am thinking about the hemogen pipeline from VRE sanguophage and netro pipeline from android, why not just make a intermediate refinery that join both pipeline network? something like the deepchem to chemfuel from vanilla chemfuel expanded
